  Muisi-kongo Malonga

Muisi-kongo Malonga is an accomplished dancer, choreographer and performer whose first love is writing. Raised between East Palo Alto and Oakland, California, Muisi-kongo is currently teaching Congolese dance at Stanford Universtiy and serving as Associate Director/Choreographer of Fua Dia Congo, the dance company founded by her father. Most recently she was awarded the James Irvine Foundation’s Dance Creation to Performance grant.
