  Jacqueline E. Luckett

Jacqueline E. Luckett, a native Californian currently residing in Oakland, has been writing short stories and poetry since taking her first UC Extension creative writing class on a dare, from herself, about six years ago. Since that time she has participated in NYU Writer’s Summer Workshop with John Edgar Wideman and the Voices of Our Nations Writing workshops with Christina Garcia, Danzy Senna, Junot Diaz, Ruth Forman and David Mura. Currently, Ms. Luckett is working on a collection of pre-World War II short stories of Southern life loosely based on tidbits of family gossip. Email: jelucky@msn.com
