Ipeleng Kgositsile is a student and writer living in Oakland,
California. Her work has appeared in books, magazines
and newspapers including Essence, In Style, Paper, The
Source, The Village Voice, The Uptown Kids: Struggle and
Hope in the Projects (Grosset/Putnam), Trace, True, and
Vibe. She will begin her studies as an Urban Studies major
at San Francisco State University in January 2006.
