The I've Known Rivers Team is a diverse group of multimedia professionals dedicated to helping people around the world share their voice, their story, in an effort to capture the essence of African Diaspora experiences in a digital archive.

Cheo Tyehimba, Editorial and Project Director
Cheo Tyehimba offers a unique editorial vision developed over several years of magazine, book, and Internet publishing experience from companies such as Time Warner, Conde Nast, Entertainment Weekly magazine, and his own Forwardever Media, an African Diaspora-focused arts and culture multimedia organization.

David Goldberg, Web design and application development
A writer, teacher and technologist (DJ, Net, Programming) raised on hip-hop and chollo graffiti, Japanese entertainment of the animated and rubber-suited variety, the Commodore 64 and 300baud modems. He has degrees in Visual Criticism (California College of the Arts) and Computer Systems Engineering (Howard University), and has taught, programmed, designed and consulted for a wide range of schools, museums and educational institutions.
